Sales Representative Job Profile and Description

Sales Representative will play a vital role in the success of the organization. The sales representative’s primary duty, is to bring visibility and product interest to potential clients, purchasing agents and buyers. In addition, addresses questions and concerns of a client. The representative will demonstrate the company products and give advice to clients on the benefits of using their products. The sales representative will spend their time finding and developing new opportunities and visiting the existing clients and prospective buyers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Seeking out new opportunities constantly within established region.

Follow up on referrals and new leads resulting after field activity.

Meet assigned sales goals and objectives.

Establishing and maintaining new and established client/account relationships.

Coordinating with company staff to achieve the work required in closing up sales.

Preparing a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up, closings, and forecasting.

Presenting and selling company services and products to current and prospective clients.

Developing and maintaining the existing product knowledge and sales materials.

Preparing proposals and presentations.

Participating in marketing events like trade shows and seminars.

Education and Qualifications

Capital equipment related sales experience.

Biology degree and/or laboratory experience.
