Image processing

AxioVision gives you all the tools you need for image enhancement:
  • Controls for contrast, brightness and color.
  • Various processes for enhancing focus and emphasizing details - noise suppression, smoothing, contour enhancement.
  • Correction of lighting conditions and control of white balance.

Annotations

Images and annotations are stored separately. As a result, they are not permanently "burned" into the images, which means that it is possible to make changes at any time. AxioVision gives you a program that allows you to add any annotations you like to an image - everything from a scale to color markings and text or graphic elements. It is no longer necessary to switch to a special processing program. The corresponding scale is stored with each image and a scale can be automatically added at any time. Time-consuming, error-prone calculations to determine magnification factors are completely unnecessary.

Designed to support future applications

Everything changes, which that explains why our AxioVision software is specifically designed to anticipate future needs. The functions of the basic modules - imaging, processing, archiving, annotation, reporting and microscope control - can be quickly and easily expanded through the use of additional modules. Solutions can also be developed for specific applications such as advanced image acquisition, interactive measurements and a module to extend the depth of field.
